Zero100 has appointed Janelle Aydin to its Advisory Board. Aydin is Global Chief Supply Chain & Procurement Officer at Kraft Heinz.

The appointment adds a senior consumer goods executive to the supply chain intelligence firm's external advisory group as it expands its research and advisory work.

Aydin brings more than two decades of experience in procurement, supply chain leadership, and sustainability strategy. In her current role at Kraft Heinz, she oversees the company's global procurement and supply chain operations and leads its integrated sustainability strategy.

She joined Kraft Heinz in 2023 and has held senior roles including Chief Procurement Officer, North America Zone, and Global Chief Procurement & Sustainability Officer. She became Global Chief Supply Chain & Procurement Officer in July 2026.

Before joining Kraft Heinz, Aydin spent more than 20 years at Diageo. There, she held global, regional, and functional leadership roles across procurement, supply chain, innovation, supplier diversity, and marketing.

Zero100, based in London with an office in Manhattan, provides research and advisory services for senior operations and business executives making supply chain investment decisions. Its model combines research, data, executive events, guidance, and access to a network of senior industry figures.

The business has been expanding its advisory and intelligence operation around shifts in how large companies manage global operations, particularly as executives face volatility, sustainability pressures, and the need to improve end-to-end decision-making across supply chains.

Olly Sloboda, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Zero100, said: "Few leaders have Janelle's breadth of experience across procurement, supply chain, sustainability, and business transformation. She understands how leading organizations function across the end-to-end value chain, from supplier relationships through to operational execution. Her frontline perspective will be hugely valuable as Zero100 shapes the agenda for the world's most forward-thinking operations executives driving business and shareholder value."

The group's advisory board is positioned as a forum for senior operations leaders, including supply chain executives, Chief Operating Officers, and Chief Executive Officers. Aydin's appointment reflects the growing importance of procurement and supply chain management in corporate strategy, particularly in sectors with large international manufacturing and sourcing networks.

Career path

At Kraft Heinz, Aydin's remit spans operational performance and sustainability. That combination has become more common at multinational consumer goods groups, where sourcing decisions, supplier relationships, and logistics planning are increasingly tied to environmental targets as well as cost and resilience goals.

Her career history also reflects the broadening scope of supply chain leadership roles. In addition to procurement and operations, she has worked in innovation and supplier diversity, areas many large companies now link more directly to risk management and commercial planning.

Commenting on the appointment, Aydin said: "It's a tremendous honor to be leading supply chain and procurement at Kraft Heinz. While this role is relatively new to me, the operations world is one I know well. As our space grows and evolves, supply chains have become a much bigger source of business value and competitive advantage. Being in a more volatile environment means leaders need to think differently about how they build resilience, drive performance, inspire innovation, and make smarter end-to-end decisions. Zero100 is a fantastic partner creating a strong forum for that exact discussion. I am thrilled to be joining this community."

Wider growth

Zero100 has continued to expand its global intelligence and advisory business, drawing on research and data focused on large and advanced supply chains. It also recently received the King's Award for Enterprise.

The appointment comes as supply chain management remains under pressure from shifting consumer demand, geopolitical uncertainty, cost inflation, and sustainability requirements. Those trends have pushed procurement and logistics leaders into a more central role in boardroom planning across consumer goods and other sectors with complex supplier networks.
