Totalmobile expands into Canada with Toronto headquarters

Fri, 5th Jun 2026 (Today)

Totalmobile has expanded into Canada, opening a Toronto headquarters and appointing David Sheridan as Regional Director for Canada.

The launch is the company's third international expansion outside the UK in the past three years.

The Belfast-based field service software provider is targeting Canadian organisations seeking to modernise frontline operations as labour shortages, rising service expectations and ageing technology systems add pressure to service delivery.

Totalmobile supports more than 500,000 daily users across 1,000 organisations globally. Its platform combines job management, scheduling, workforce rostering and field service intelligence for teams working in the field.

Sheridan will lead the Canadian operation from Toronto. He has more than 20 years of experience in North American technology markets and will oversee local operations while working with organisations looking to improve field service delivery.

The expansion follows growth across Europe and Asia-Pacific and comes after investment from Five Arrows, the alternative assets arm of Rothschild & Co.

Field service management software is used by organisations with mobile workforces in sectors including public services, utilities, infrastructure and property services. Companies in the sector are seeking to benefit from demand for tools that bring scheduling, dispatch, staffing and operational oversight together in one system.

Canada is a strategic market for Totalmobile as it continues its international expansion.

"Canada represents an important next step for Totalmobile and a strategically important market as we continue expanding our international presence," said Phil Race, Chief Executive Officer, Totalmobile.

He said customers were facing mounting operational pressures.

"Organisations are under increasing pressure to simplify operations, improve visibility and deliver better frontline services, and we believe there's a real opportunity to support that with our more connected approach.

"We're bringing proven experience from other international markets while building a strong local presence from day one, and we're looking forward to working closely with teams across Canada as they continue modernising service delivery," said Race.

Local expansion

Totalmobile is entering the Canadian market with experience from deployments in other regions and plans to build a local presence from the outset. It also works with strategic partners including CGI and Sopra Steria across the UK, Europe and Asia-Pacific on field service transformation projects.

Sheridan said the company was not starting from scratch in the market.

"Totalmobile is not entering Canada as an unknown quantity. Our platform has been proven at scale in some of the most demanding field service environments internationally, and we're bringing that experience directly to Canadian organisations."

"We've already seen the operational benefits customers achieve when frontline services are brought together through a single platform. There's a real opportunity to apply that experience locally and support organisations looking to modernise how field services are delivered while creating greater operational value," said Sheridan.
