TalentLMS launches skills programme for female SMBs

Yesterday

TalentLMS has introduced the Skills Accelerator Program specifically for women-owned small and medium-sized businesses, offering them technology and resources to enhance employee skills.

The initiative aims to empower female entrepreneurs by facilitating opportunities for employee reskilling and upskilling, cultivating a culture of continuous learning within their enterprises. TalentLMS has committed to providing 20 selected women entrepreneurs with complimentary access to its learning platform for an entire year.

Women-owned businesses are often confronted with challenges, including restricted access to capital and lower profitability compared to their male counterparts. This initiative is particularly pertinent given findings from a LinkedIn global study that organisations investing in employee development experience a 15% increase in productivity.

Nikhil Arora, Chief Executive Officer of Epignosis, the parent company of TalentLMS, underscored the necessity of equitable resource access in fostering a thriving business environment. "At Epignosis, we believe that equal access to opportunities and resources is essential for building a more equitable and thriving business landscape," he said.

"Women play a pivotal role in shaping the workforce and driving economic growth, yet too often face systemic barriers to success. With the launch of the TalentLMS Skills Accelerator Program for women-owned SMBs, we are taking deliberate action to break down these barriers and create pathways for women entrepreneurs to thrive."

Arora emphasised the importance of ongoing learning initiatives, stating, "Investing in continuous learning isn't just beneficial—it's imperative. We are proud to support women-owned businesses that may lack the financial resources to invest in employee development, knowing that robust learning programs foster innovation and engagement and drive long-term business success."

The programme will provide the selected businesses access to TalentLMS and TalentLibraryTM, a collection of pre-made courses covering soft skills and workplace-related subjects. This is expected to enhance employee engagement, growth, and excellence in their respective roles, contributing significantly to the companies' success.

Women entrepreneurs from all sectors are invited to apply for the Skills Accelerator Program to leverage this opportunity to induce positive change within their organisations.
