StackAdapt launches IvyTM AI assistant to boost media buying

Thu, 10th Jul 2025

StackAdapt has announced the release of IvyTM, an artificial intelligence (AI) agentic assistant designed to enhance decision-making for media buyers using its demand-side platform.

The addition of IvyTM to StackAdapt's platform aims to provide marketers with real-time insights and personalised support throughout the digital campaign lifecycle. According to StackAdapt, the new tool allows users to refine targeting strategies, uncover insights using natural language prompts, and receive AI-driven recommendations from campaign setup through to optimisation.

Campaign lifecycle support

IvyTM is embedded within the StackAdapt platform and is intended to support each stage of campaign management. Utilising an understanding of audience behaviour and performance trends, the assistant helps streamline campaign execution and assists marketers in expediting decisions.

Among the attributed benefits, IvyTM offers precise targeting based on interest data, the ability to quickly access key performance metrics through natural language queries, and on-demand guidance for navigating the platform or developing optimisation techniques.

Applications across sectors

The company states that IvyTM can be used by marketers in a range of sectors, including business-to-business, retail, and travel. B2B marketers can access audience recommendations and plan campaigns for high-intent groups, retail marketers can optimise seasonal campaigns with immediate performance data, and travel marketers can identify trending destinations and streamline targeting, all using the system's natural language interface.

StackAdapt reports that the tool enables marketers to dedicate more time to strategic and creative tasks by reducing the time spent searching through dashboards, without relinquishing control over campaign management.

Key features detailed

Three core features highlighted by StackAdapt for IvyTM include:

  • Precise targeting: Refines audience selection via interest-based data, suitable for both expanding reach and focusing on niche segments.
  • Faster insights: Allows the use of natural language queries to quickly view performance metrics, without the need for complex navigation.
  • On-demand guidance: Functions as an always-available knowledge base for platform navigation, campaign setup, and optimisation strategies.

In the month prior to the launch, IvyTM was used to respond to over 1,700 messages within the StackAdapt platform. According to the company, common queries included advice on recommended cost-per-mille (CPM) rates for connected television (CTV) campaigns, as well as specifications for digital out-of-home (DOOH) and native advertising formats. These use cases, StackAdapt suggests, demonstrate the assistant's flexibility in both planning and operational contexts.

Leadership perspective

"We've built our platform on advanced AI, and now IvyTM puts that power directly into the hands of our clients," said Yang Han, Co-founder and CTO of StackAdapt. "After thoughtful development, we're excited to introduce it as a powerful extension of our platform and a step forward in delivering intelligent automation that's intuitive, helpful, and built to drive business growth."

StackAdapt has positioned IvyTM as part of its broader strategy to support marketers with proactive AI assistance. The company sees agentic AI as increasingly vital in marketing, helping to reduce fragmentation between marketing and advertising technologies, with the aim of delivering meaningful business results.

IvyTM is currently available for StackAdapt clients throughout North America. The platform intends to continue integrating AI intelligence at multiple points in campaign activation, with a focus on business outcomes over simple automation.
