Program record

Innovation Saskatchewan said the Saskatchewan Advantage Innovation Fund has committed more than CAD $17.3 million since 2018 across 66 projects. The agency said those investments generated CAD $55.3 million in private investment and CAD $8.9 million in federal investment.

The agency added that the Agtech Growth Fund has invested more than CAD $5.3 million since its launch six years ago. It reported CAD $22.4 million in private investment and CAD $3.2 million in federal investment.

Innovation Saskatchewan held the announcement at the Innovation Saskatchewan Research and Technology Park in Regina. The event also featured Greenwave Innovations, which previously received support from the Saskatchewan Advantage Innovation Fund.

Greenwave Innovations said it launched Greensense, an artificial intelligence-powered energy and asset management platform. The company said it has grown since that launch. It said the platform targets reducing energy waste and lowering operating costs for organisations.

"Through the support provided by the SAIF program, Greenwave has been able to significantly enhance and accelerate the development of Greensense. Heading into 2026, we are very well positioned to execute on our geographical expansion plans as we deploy our industry-leading energy management technology within buildings across Canada and beyond," said Dean Clark, President and CEO at Greenwave Innovations.
