Rimini Street has launched Rimini Govern for AI, a service designed to help organisations oversee AI agent activity across the enterprise.

The managed service sits within the company's Rimini Govern portfolio of governance, risk and compliance products and is available immediately. It is aimed at businesses moving AI agents from pilot projects into production environments, where monitoring, security and workflow control become harder to manage.

Rimini Street says organisations face a growing control gap as they struggle to ensure AI agents perform only authorised tasks and complete approved workflows. Many businesses also contend with fragmented monitoring tools, uneven governance frameworks across business units and limited visibility into AI agent costs, performance and return on investment.

According to the company, Rimini Govern for AI provides a central operational layer for AI agents. It monitors agent activity, workflows, security events, compliance status, performance metrics and cost data, while also offering audit functions and intervention support when issues arise.

The service includes root-cause analysis and remediation support for problems affecting AI-enabled workflows and business processes. Delivery is provided around the clock through Rimini Street's Global Command Centres by AI engineers.

How it works

Rimini Street has structured the service as a three-stage deployment model. The first phase covers planning, including an assessment of a client's AI goals, readiness, governance priorities and roadmap needs through workshops led by a Rimini Street Enterprise Architect.

The second phase focuses on implementation. During this stage, Rimini Street works with clients to identify agents across designated software, platforms and systems, configure secure access for governance purposes and assess the operational, financial and compliance effects of AI agents and workflows.

The final phase is operation. At that point, the service moves into continuous monitoring and management from the company's command centres, with support staff also covering system monitoring, security and integration services.

The launch reflects a wider shift in corporate AI use as businesses try to turn experimental projects into systems that can operate at scale. That transition has raised new governance and operational questions, especially for companies working across multiple software environments or in regulated sectors.

Rimini Street says the service is particularly suited to organisations that want to deploy AI agents across different tools, platforms or vendors while maintaining security and measuring business value. This includes public sector bodies, critical infrastructure operators and organisations with security-clearance requirements.

Seth Ravin, Chief Executive Officer of Rimini Street, described the product's role in that shift. "With Rimini Govern for AI, organisations can now confidently and securely deploy AI agents and scale AI agent operations with the oversight, control, visibility and measurement needed to accelerate adoption, measure ROI and achieve business outcomes that include reduced total operating costs, improved profitability and enhanced competitive advantage," he said.

He added: "With more than twenty years of proven experience delivering global, ultra-responsive, mission-critical IT support to thousands of organisations around the world - including public sector, critical infrastructure and military clients with security-clearance requirements - Rimini Street is uniquely positioned to now deliver industry-leading capabilities in global AI agent governance, security, compliance and interoperability."

Market backdrop

Rimini Street linked the launch to mounting concerns about oversight as AI agents take on more operational tasks inside large organisations. It cited industry concern that weak governance can lead to production incidents, particularly when businesses adopt autonomous systems before establishing clear controls.

Constellation Research Chief Executive Officer R "Ray" Wang said customers are looking for central oversight as AI use expands. "As organisations move from AI experimentation to enterprise-scale adoption, they need trusted visibility, governance and control to deploy AI responsibly and securely," he said.

He added: "Customers want AI solutions to provide a centralised foundation for enterprises to secure, run, govern and measure AI effectiveness at scale. When you combine this with proven enterprise software support and deep process knowledge, global managed service capabilities 24/7/365 from Global Command Centres and expansive AI expertise, organisations can now operationalise AI with speed, cost-effectiveness and confidence. This is a no-brainer."

Rimini Govern for AI forms part of a broader group of AI-related services from the company. Alongside it, Rimini Street offers Rimini Agentworks, which covers the design, build, testing and certification of AI agents, and Rimini Agentic UX, which is positioned as an AI-driven user layer over existing ERP systems.

These services are intended to give customers a way to design, deploy, govern and refine AI agent operations across existing enterprise software estates. The latest launch places the strongest emphasis on post-deployment oversight, as companies seek to prevent AI tools from operating outside approved business, security and compliance guardrails.
