RDC.AI is stepping up its push into North America following growth among existing customers. The Australian-founded banking software company recorded more than 120 per cent growth within its current customer base over the past 12 months across Australia, New Zealand and North America. Its customers include Westpac and US commercial bank M&T Bank.

RDC.AI sells artificial intelligence tools for business and commercial banks, focusing on portfolio intelligence, automation and decision support in regulated banking settings. Its products are designed to help bankers identify customer trends, risks and opportunities earlier, while supporting oversight of lending portfolios.

North America is a major target because of the large number of regulated banking institutions in the US and Canada. RDC.AI is increasing its regional presence and investing in its US-based commercial team as it builds on work already undertaken with M&T Bank.

At M&T Bank, the deployment embedded intelligence into bankers' day-to-day workflows. RDC.AI said early credit-risk signals were identified up to six months earlier, while manual effort was reduced by 70 per cent compared with conventional monitoring.

Regional growth

Backed by investors including Westpac and Acorn Capital, RDC.AI has spent the past decade building software for business and commercial banking. It also works with technology groups including AWS, Snowflake and Anthropic through partner programmes.

RDC.AI is in final-stage discussions with banks across the US and Canada as it seeks to widen adoption in the region. The push comes as more banks move from small-scale artificial intelligence trials to broader deployment in operational settings.

Banks are adopting its platform more widely to improve customer insight and portfolio monitoring while keeping decision-making explainable and subject to governance controls. The business is also developing new products that place artificial intelligence tools more directly into the workflows of frontline bankers and managers.

Ada Guan outlined the company's position as it marks a decade in business.

"As RDC.AI marks its tenth year, we're seeing growing validation of the approach we've taken from day one - building AI specifically for regulated financial institutions, with explainability, governance and safety at its core. Today, banks are moving beyond experimentation and looking for proven solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes coupled with regulatory confidence. This is reflected in the growth we're seeing across our customers, where banks are broadening the adoption of our platform," said Ada Guan, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of RDC.AI.

Guan also described a new collaborative workspace now in product preview with two customers.

"We continue to push the envelope with agentic AI for regulated banks, and we are currently in product preview with two customers for our new collaborative agentic workspace. This is the place where bankers and governed agents work together on complex, high-value decisions typical of what we see in business and commercial banking," Guan said.

She said the product is intended to let bank teams query portfolio information in new ways while keeping the final decision with human staff.

"Imagine this as the place where bank leaders and frontline teams can now ask questions and interrogate the portfolio in ways they have never been able to before, again underpinned by explainability. The banker makes the decision and sets the task, then the agents do the work safely and transparently on the bank's own curated data, policy and knowledge. It's very exciting to see real value by placing agentic AI directly in the hands of bankers, at the governance level required by regulated banks," Guan said.

North America remains the focus of this next phase as RDC.AI tries to convert interest from banks in the US and Canada into production deployments in one of the world's largest commercial banking markets.
