monday.com launches AI agents & upgrades to power workplace automation

Thu, 25th Sep 2025

monday.com has unveiled new artificial intelligence-powered agents, expanded customer relationship management tools, and strengthened enterprise controls, signalling a shift towards increasing automation in routine workplace tasks.

Agentic AI is being rapidly adopted in business, with recent figures indicating that eighty-eight percent of executives plan to allocate more budget towards AI in the coming year. Ninety percent of employees are already experiencing reduced time spent on manual activities due to AI, and eighty-one percent believe it enhances creativity. In this context, monday.com's new suite of features is aimed at broadening AI's role in the workflow to directly execute tasks, rather than simply manage them.

monday agents

The centrepiece of the announcement is monday agents, a new feature enabling users to create digital workers capable of handling complete processes. The initial deployment sees these AI-powered agents integrated in monday CRM, where they perform tasks such as qualifying and enriching sales leads, sending outreach communications, and transferring prospects to sales teams.

"AI is fundamentally changing the way people adopt, onboard, and enhance work solutions, and with it, expectations for what software should deliver," said Daniel Lereya, Chief Product & Technology Officer at monday.com. "We're entering a new era where software doesn't just manage the work, it actually does the work for you."
"With monday agents, we're giving every organisation the ability to create AI specialists tailored to their needs, capable of executing tasks end-to-end and unlocking entirely new business potential. By making agent building simple, no-code, and deeply connected to existing workflows, we're ensuring that every team, technical or not, can harness the power of AI to move faster, stay aligned, and scale smarter."

monday agents are designed to be created through an intuitive, code-free builder, making advanced automation accessible to a wide range of teams. These agents can manage multi-step processes and adapt dynamically, potentially delivering productivity improvements by removing bottlenecks previously handled by human staff.

Currently, the agents in monday CRM are focused on sales development tasks, engaging leads promptly, updating data, qualifying business prospects, and logging interactions, thereby expanding sales pipeline capacity and supporting efficient lead handoffs. Looking forward, monday.com plans to expand agent capability across different business functions, including scheduling, project tracking, research, and strategic planning.

Expanding AI features

This product evolution follows the recent full release of three core AI capabilities: monday magic, monday vibe, and monday sidekick. According to monday.com, these tools integrate intelligence directly into daily workflows.

monday vibe, in particular, is reshaping app creation within the platform through a method referred to as "vibe-coding." This approach enables users to build applications in plain English, utilising advanced language models and the underlying mondayDB infrastructure. The company reports that more than 17,000 apps have been built using vibe-coding since its introduction, highlighting rapid uptake. These applications are natively connected to organisational data and workflows and come with embedded governance, security, and compliance features.

Marketing campaigns in CRM

The newly introduced monday campaigns module within monday CRM provides marketing teams with tools to design, execute, and optimise campaigns aligned to revenue objectives. Marketing and sales activities are united in one environment, giving teams a single data source and consistent business goals.

"Marketers have long struggled with disconnected tools, siloed data, and the constant pressure to prove ROI," said Harris Beber, CMO at monday.com. "With monday campaigns, we're breaking down the wall between marketing and sales by giving teams an AI-powered solution built directly into their CRM. Now, marketers have the full customer picture in one place, so every campaign is tied directly to revenue impact, all in one platform."

The platform uses AI to generate marketing copy, recommend audience segments from live CRM data, and schedule communications to maximise effectiveness. Automated triggers allow for personalised campaigns based on customer updates and actions. While monday campaigns currently focuses on email marketing, the company intends to broaden the product's capabilities over time.

Enterprise enhancements

The announcements also include new enterprise-grade controls targeting large organisations. These enhancements, covering dependency management, resource planning, and governance, are designed to provide clearer oversight of complex projects while enabling teams to remain agile. Clients have reported measurable benefits; for example, Pepsi achieved a thirty percent reduction in lower-impact work while maintaining one hundred percent of critical deadlines, and Five9 reduced time to revenue by twenty-five percent with AI-powered workflows.

These updates reflect monday.com's ongoing efforts to address the needs of global organisations by providing tools that support coordination of complex work at scale, strengthening governance, and ensuring data security and compliance.

Mondy.com's latest suite of AI-driven tools and features is now available for its customer base, which exceeds 250,000 globally.
