Tue, 18th Nov 2025

EY Canada has been named the Canadian System Integrator Partner of the Year by Microsoft for 2025, in recognition of the firm's role in supporting digital transformation across Canadian industries through Microsoft-enabled solutions.

The award distinguishes EY Canada for delivering technology-driven solutions that help organisations respond to increasingly complex challenges. EY was selected from a pool of over 2,000 nominees.

The partnership between EY and Microsoft has brought new offerings to Canadian businesses, especially those integrating artificial intelligence and cloud technologies to modernise operations. According to the firm, the collaboration between the two companies has enabled a broader adoption of digital tools needed in evolving markets.

"This recognition reflects the strength of our collaboration with Microsoft and the dedication of our teams that solve real-world problems with practical solutions," said Doug Carsley, Partner, EY Canada Microsoft Leader of EY Canada.

EY's collaboration with Microsoft has extended to efforts in supporting AI adoption and facilitating organisational change, with both companies focusing on pragmatic transformation strategies.

AI adoption

EY continues to focus on embedding AI capabilities within client projects and organisational models. The firm states that its approach is to blend intelligence with human judgement, with the aim of helping organisations become what it calls 'Frontier Firms' that operate at the edge of business transformation.

Through its alliance with Microsoft, EY is emphasising scalable AI-powered platforms, secure cloud migration, and sustainability-led business strategies. The alliance aims to facilitate rapid adaptation in response to market and technological shifts.

Industry outlook

The increasing integration of AI across industries is prompting many organisations to reconsider operational approaches. In Canada, EY's work with Microsoft is said to be supporting clients through this transition, particularly as they seek to operate with greater agility in uncertain conditions.

Global achievements

EY's award in Canada is part of a broader global recognition, with the firm also receiving accolades such as the Partner Innovation and Social Impact award for Global Advisory and Consulting Services, as well as the Industry Award for Financial Services.

The Microsoft Americas Partner of the Year Awards recognise partners who have delivered significant Microsoft-based solutions over the past year. Analysts and industry trackers have singled out EY for its achievements in artificial intelligence services globally, as recognised in recent IDC MarketScape assessments.

"Microsoft extends its sincere congratulations to this year's Partner of the Year Award winners. Your innovation, excellence, and commitment to delivering transformative solutions continue to help customers succeed and thrive in a rapidly changing world. We are honored to collaborate with such outstanding partners and remain deeply committed to supporting our partners and building a future of growth and innovation together," said Nina Harding, Corporate Vice President at Microsoft Americas Enterprise Partner Solutions.
