Datadog named leader in The Forrester Wave AIOps report

Today

Datadog has been named a leader in The Forrester Wave: AIOps Platforms, Q2 2025, receiving the highest scores possible in eleven evaluation categories.

The Forrester Wave assessment highlighted Datadog's performance across areas such as innovation, log management, data governance and lineage, cloud and infrastructure management, application performance management, service map maintenance, digital experience monitoring, disruption detection and mitigation, data-driven automation, remediation, and collaboration tools.

Datadog's suite of AIOps solutions includes Bits AI, Watchdog, and Event Management, which form part of its unified platform for monitoring, security, and automation across cloud applications.

The Forrester report noted the strength of Datadog's data capabilities. "Superior data governance and lineage positions Datadog well for continued growth, along with its Observability Graph to map relationships between Services." The report further stated that, "Clients seeking to drive efficiency and effectiveness through the convergence of their development and operations teams, with AI at its core, will find Datadog to be the right partner."

Michael Whetten, Vice President of Product at Datadog, commented on the changes organisations face as their technology ecosystems become more complex. "Organisations' tech stacks have become increasingly distributed and complex as they generate massive amounts of data. Datadog's AIOps capabilities make sense of this data by reducing noise so teams can direct their attention to the right places and take action on meaningful alerts," he said.

He added, "By making AIOps a foundational part of our unified platform, Datadog helps DevOps teams accelerate decision making and operations to improve the performance, reliability and security of their applications."

The Forrester Wave is intended as a guide for buyers evaluating technology providers, relying upon Forrester's methodology for comparing products and services in various technology marketplaces. Forrester's reports are based on analyses and are designed to support purchasing decisions for end-user organisations.

The assessment and recognition apply to Datadog's broad capabilities in infrastructure monitoring, application performance, and incident management, as well as its focus on unifying these functions through AI-powered automation and coordination.
