Concentric AI has appointed Gary Olson as Chief Revenue Officer and Will Saso as Vice President of Sales, Americas, expanding its senior commercial leadership team.

Olson will oversee the company's global go-to-market strategy, while Saso will lead the sales organisation across the US, Canada and Latin America. The hires come as Concentric AI looks to widen its reach in the market for AI and data security governance.

Both executives bring long track records in cybersecurity and enterprise technology sales. Their arrival adds experienced revenue and regional sales leadership as companies adopting AI face closer scrutiny over how they govern and protect data.

Olson has more than 30 years of experience across security markets, including cloud, application, network, endpoint, threat intelligence and identity. Before joining Concentric AI, he was Chief Revenue Officer at Sysdig and previously held the same role at Snyk, where he led a global team of more than 300 to a USD $300 million annual recurring revenue milestone.

He also worked at AT&T Cybersecurity after AT&T acquired AlienVault, serving as Vice President of Global Sales and managing more than 500 sellers across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific. Earlier, he was part of the executive leadership team at Zscaler and served as Vice President and General Manager of Worldwide Sales when the company went public in 2018.

Saso brings more than 25 years of sales leadership experience, much of it at cybersecurity companies during expansion phases. Most recently, he was Vice President of Sales, Americas, at Sysdig, where he advanced from leading the western region to overseeing revenue across the Americas.

Earlier in his career, he spent six years at Duo Security as Vice President of Sales, West. He also led worldwide sales at Censys and Cyberhaven, and received four promotions over six years at Business Objects.

Leadership push

The appointments highlight the importance software companies are placing on sales execution as demand grows for products tied to AI oversight and data governance. Businesses adopting generative AI tools are increasingly trying to identify where sensitive information resides, how it moves through systems and what controls apply when employees and software models interact with that data.

Concentric AI sells software designed to help organisations discover, govern and protect business-critical and compliance-sensitive information. It positions its products around the challenge of securing data in both traditional environments and AI-related workflows.

Karthik Krishnan, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, said the hires are part of that expansion effort. "It is a pleasure to welcome Gary and Will to Concentric AI's executive team," said Krishnan. "Every company reaches a moment when the right additions to the leadership team can accelerate its momentum, and this is ours. Gary and Will bring deep experience that will sharpen our focus as we continue to scale and meet the growing demand for AI and data security governance."

Olson said the company's market position drew him to the role. "What drew me to the company isn't just the technology; it's the chance to continue building something category-defining alongside an experienced team and with a clear vision for where the market is headed," he said. "That's the kind of inflection point I've gravitated toward throughout my career, and it's exactly what I see at Concentric AI. The company is uniquely poised to help organizations address the evolving data security challenges created by AI, and I couldn't be more excited to help drive its next phase of growth."

Saso said he sees the role as an opportunity to expand the business across the region. "What excites me about this opportunity is the chance to bring transformative technology to more organizations while building the team and go-to-market engine needed to support long-term growth," he said. "Concentric AI has a compelling technology and significant market opportunity and I'm excited to help build on that momentum and expand the company's presence across the Americas."

Saso will focus on increasing revenue and broadening the customer base throughout the Americas, while Olson will lead global sales strategy and relationships with major accounts.

Olson previously held senior roles at Snyk, Sysdig, AT&T Cybersecurity and Zscaler, while Saso's background includes Sysdig, Duo Security, Censys, Cyberhaven and Business Objects.
