BlueVoyant launches Microsoft 365 E7 readiness bundle

BlueVoyant has launched a Microsoft 365 E7 readiness bundle that combines BlueVoyant AI with deployment support for Microsoft Purview, Security Copilot and its Microsoft Agent 365 Security Deployment Service.

The package targets organisations adopting Microsoft's top-tier security and AI licensing layer, where AI tools and agents can expand security risks across corporate environments.

Designed to bring data security and what BlueVoyant describes as agentic identity into a single deployment and managed security offering, the service is aimed at Microsoft environments where businesses use AI systems with access to sensitive information and operational permissions.

At the centre of the offer is BlueVoyant AI, which serves as a common layer for monitoring and response. The bundle adds deployment support for Microsoft Purview, used for data governance and protection, and extends support to Security Copilot, Microsoft's AI assistant for security teams.

The package also includes BlueVoyant's Microsoft Agent 365 Security Deployment Service, announced separately, which focuses on securing AI agents operating inside Microsoft tenants. BlueVoyant says customers can use a single provider instead of assembling separate products and services for data protection, identity controls and AI oversight.

Data and identity

BlueVoyant frames the launch around two areas it says organisations need to address as they adopt Microsoft 365 E7: data security and identity management for AI agents and other non-human accounts. In practice, that means linking Purview with identity tools such as Entra ID Protection and with controls around AI agents.

BlueVoyant AI now includes Continuous Optimization of Microsoft Security for Purview. As a result, Purview alerts, data leak events, policy breaches and insider risk signals are handled in the same system that supports its managed detection and response work, rather than in a separate workflow.

According to BlueVoyant, that approach enables enrichment, correlation and triage of data security events alongside other security incidents. It should give customers a single investigation process rather than parallel reviews across different tools.

On the identity side, BlueVoyant says its Entra ID Protection work is a core part of BlueVoyant AI, and that the Agent 365 deployment service extends this to AI agents operating across Microsoft systems. It has also extended that deployment support to Security Copilot.

The result, according to BlueVoyant, is coverage across configuration, security posture and identity lifecycle policy for both human and non-human identities, as well as the AI systems acting on their behalf. Bringing Purview together with Sentinel, Defender and Entra gives customers a more consistent view of risk across users, agents and data, it says.

Security concerns around AI agents have grown as businesses test or roll out tools that can access internal systems and act with delegated permissions. These systems can interact with sensitive data and business workflows, raising questions about governance, visibility and access management.

John Hernandez outlined the company's view of that challenge.

"Many organisations are concerned about AI agents operating without appropriate governance, and the fix isn't caution, it's control," said John Hernandez, Chief Executive Officer, BlueVoyant.

"Companies need to get their data secured and agents governed together, so that organisations don't have to accept uncontrolled agent behaviour. This is the foundation we built BlueVoyant AI to be," Hernandez said.

Microsoft focus

BlueVoyant is presenting the bundle as part of a broader strategy built around Microsoft's security stack. Its work in this area has been shaped by years of deployments across Microsoft Sentinel, Defender and Entra environments, the company says.

It also argues that non-human identities now outnumber human ones in many large organisations and remain less well protected. That issue has become more pressing with the spread of AI agents that can query systems, handle data and trigger actions inside enterprise platforms.
