Allvue Systems has introduced new agentic and Model Context Protocol features for its private markets platform, aimed at firms across credit, private equity and fund administration.

The update lets clients connect external artificial intelligence tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to Allvue data and workflows without using a separate platform. Within Allvue's software, new document extraction and workflow tools are designed to reduce manual processing in investment and administration tasks.

Clients can now query portfolio benchmarks and other platform data through their own enterprise AI tools. Allvue is also expanding the use of AI agents in daily workflows, including capital activity and trading functions.

In capital activity, now in a controlled rollout with selected clients, users can make bookings and allocations using plain-English instructions. In trading, AI agents can handle manual steps before a trade is reviewed.

Over the past year, Allvue has released AI-related products across different stages of the private markets investment process, including tools for data management, analytics, document handling and workflow orchestration.

Products already live include the Nexius Data Platform, Nexius Intelligence and Andi Insights. According to Allvue, these tools provide a central data source, benchmarking on deals and covenants, and a plain-English way to query portfolio information.

OneVue Workspace is also being rolled out to coordinate tasks and workflows across credit, private equity and fund administration teams. Another tool, Document IQ, extracts and structures data from unstructured documents, including credit agreements, financial statements, loan notices and fund-of-funds documents.

According to Allvue, Document IQ includes traceability back to the source material and can shorten deal setup from hours to minutes by automating document processing.

The latest product push comes as software providers and asset managers seek practical uses for generative AI in private markets, where data is often fragmented across systems and document formats. Firms in the sector have faced pressure from investors and lenders for faster reporting, better transparency and more consistent records across investment, accounting and administration functions.

Last week, Moody's Analytics released its EDF-X Private Credit Model with Allvue technology. Allvue said the model gives investors and lenders more visibility into stress within private credit markets.

Workflow focus

One recent project is the Capital Activity Workflow, developed with RSM US. Allvue said the system combines RSM's fund administration and governance work with its own agentic architecture to reduce capital call timelines from weeks to days.

Another process, Loan Notice Processing, is designed to ingest agent-bank notices and pre-populate accounting fields for validation. Capital Activity, meanwhile, allows teams to use natural-language instructions for bookings, allocations and calls.

The broader aim is to let private markets firms use their existing AI software across operational workflows rather than in isolation. Model Context Protocol, or MCP, is intended to give AI systems a more consistent way to connect to data and applications.

Marc Scheipe, Chief Executive Officer of Allvue Systems, said the company sees market structure and technology expectations changing at the same time.

"Private markets are entering a fundamentally different era. The industry is growing in scale and complexity, expectations for transparency are rising, and AI is rapidly changing what firms should expect from their technology," Scheipe said.

"But AI is only as powerful as the data and workflows behind it. We believe the future belongs to firms that can connect their data, intelligence and workflows across the investment lifecycle, creating greater transparency, automating work and enabling better decisions. That's the future we've been building toward at Allvue, and we believe we're uniquely positioned to help define it," he said.

Ivan Latanision, Chief Product Officer of Allvue Systems, pointed to the pace of change in both AI development and customer demand.

"Markets, technology, and GP and LP expectations are moving faster than at any point we've seen. AI models are being released three times faster than a year ago, and the majority of GPs are already evaluating or piloting agentic tools. We have seen the speed at which Allvue has been able to develop an operating platform that connects the entire private-capital lifecycle, including systems of record, data intelligence, and agentic workflows, in one place. It's a testament to the team that Allvue clients can now interact with the Allvue platform and work however and wherever they choose," Latanision said.
